In recent years, new campus and hotel room networks have been established. Many are pushing for the POL Full Light Programme: a buildingway with an OLT, spectrometers to pull fibre-optics into each room, rooms with an ONU network unit, portals and WiFi from this small box and tradition."Floor exchange + room portal + stand-alone AP"The whole-light network has a problem that is often captured in the program material:In this architecture, which floor should the certification and accounting be on?

The structure of the full-light campus network is explained. OLTs are located in a central machine room or a weak building, and the cell is divided into dozens of circuits through an unsourced spectrometer, with ONUB in the room being the user-end device. There is no active switch on the floor in this structure, ODSN is non-existent, low cost, low failure rate. Each room naturally has a separate ONUB device, not a pile of APs covering the public area.It means the drop point for Authentication & Billing, and"A whole floor with an AP covering dozens of people."The traditional wireless network is completely different.

In the traditional wireless program, users are covered by one AP in a teaching building, dormitory area, corridor, where they go to authenticate, and the billing point is on AC or Bras, which is based on user accounts and not related to physical location. But in the whole light program, there's an ONUB in every room, a web portal for each ONUB, a WiFi signal. The room itself is a natural unit of billing. The student lives in 301 dormitories, his ONU is at 301; the change of dormitory is a change of ONUB."By person"Slide"Press room/press ONUB"。

This leads to a key programmatic option:Is the certification following ONUB or following the account number? If you follow ONUB, the Internet entrance and WiFi in room 301 will be used by the residents of 301, plugged in the Internet, connected to WiFi automatically, without each certification, charged directly to room 301, and changed the number of this room on the system. This is a suitable model for dormitories, hotel rooms, etc."Rooms fixed, people changed."The scenes, the guests' best experience.——No account code. Just plug it in.

The entire campus network is not just dormitories. Teaching buildings, libraries, and office buildings are mobile, with no ONUB serving only one person, and then it has to go back to the account-based certification model. V7 NATSHEL_AUTH_BILLING supports both models: dormitory areas are released by room/ONU without perception, public areas are certified by student accounts as Portal or 802.1X. The same costing platform uses different strategies in different regions, which is more sophisticated in the full-time campus programme.

What kind of equipment does V7 carry in this structure? The BRAS or campus gateway that goes on the OLT. The full-light network is not certified by itself, it only performs photovoltaic conversion and access; real authentication, billing, strategy release remains done by the top-line BRAS or gateway to V7. V7 supports the BRAS and gateways that handle mainstream manufacturers, taking standard RADIUS and Portal protocols, which are transparent for ONUB.——It sees the request for certification from which NAS, which user and which package, without knowing whether it is light or copper.

There's a convenient advantage: the full-light net's second layer of isolation. The PON structure naturally supports the second-floor isolation of each ONUB, and the 301 dormitory radio package does not reach 302. This means that students' private routers, personal representatives, are physically confined to their own rooms and do not see each other under a AP like traditional sharing APs. The V7 NATHHEL_ANTI_SHARG strategy is more easily configured in this architecture.——It just needs to be identified."This ONUB has a few terminals down.", the threshold is over and warned or blocked without having to struggle to identify who is in a large broadcast area.

But the whole net also has new billing problems. One at a time, one at an OCU. What if there are two people in that room? For example, four dorm rooms, one ONU, one portal, but four students have their own mobile computers."Based on ONUB"and"Personally"If you pay the monthly amount of money, who pays this monthly fee? Is it a per capita share for the dormitory or is the school all in the same account? If you charge the cost by person, each of the four certifies their respective packages and ONUB is an access point. The two models correspond to a completely different costing configuration that must be set up at the programme stage with the school operator, and cannot afford to have a separate account for everyone while designing room charges and at the same time making them personal.

There's another border to say:PON All-Light Network is access technology, WiFi Billing System is an operating platform and not a substitute. The whole-light network program stuff says,"Unified ID, no sense of walking"But specifically, what Natshell does, how the package is sold, how the bill is paid. That's V7 platform. You can't take it off."All-light network supports the integration of three networks"I understand."The whole light network can do the billing itself."OLT, ONUB, spectrometers are pipes. What's the business and money on top of them, or is it a Authentication & Billing platform?

Finally, a realistic suggestion: if the new campus is to be fully luminous, it will be possible to use the Internet to help the community.Authentication & Billing system is to intervene at the programme design stage, and not to think about any charges until the light network is ready. The following are often re-allocations of OLT configurations, re-programming and re-addressing, which is much more costly. V7 supports multiple deployment models (byside roads, local, cloudy, distribution) with full-light access without technical barriers, but the interface fields, address planning, strategy models for connection are confirmed in pre-intercom.

After all, the full-light campus network changed the physical shape of the access layer but did not change the core logic of Authentication & Billing. One OCU per room gave"- It's on the room."V7 operates as a platform for top-level operations, with no direct light control on the BRAS or gateway. The point of calculation is set at which level, in the room or at the person’s rate, and is fixed together with the whole light program at the network planning stage, before the pipe can be laid down to collect it.

Access Program I'll be right back. Telephone counselling
