The ideal for a hotel is that the guest will be able to identify himself by his house number and name, without having to fill in the cell number. This depends on matching the certification system with PMS. But it's not a word, the field and the bottom line, otherwise the desired state becomes an accident on the ground, but rather drags on the front desk and the guests’ experience.
How do you get the number and name?
The guest is checked in, PMS synchronizes the number and name of the person (or surname spell) to the certification system, generating a temporary certificate.
The field is PMS, not necessarily.
The six-digit number plus the room number after a serial ID, and the number of rooms with the initials of the surnames used by the stars, are different from the entry habits and system fields in front. Either way, if these fields are in PMS and the format is standard, certification will not be correct. Do not push hard, it will only result in a lot of failures and complaints on the front desk.
Write the field map clearly
In actual projects, the number of a dwelling, name, entry and exit, mobile phone numbers are mapd to the account number and validity of the authentication system. The home number is the main key for the account number, with the name or spelling as the check item, and the time-frame for occupancy determines the opening of the area.
What if PMS doesn't open the interface?
The information gives an alternative order that does not depend on the interface: domestic SMS authentication is preferred; international SMS is optional; a two-dimensional number of machine or instrument is used to generate one-off vouchers; front registration generates temporary accounts; or combination design, such as text messaging for domestic residents, and PMS fielding for outside guests. Identification of forward processes and equipment before programming, without first committing to remediation, often with higher cost of remediation.
Synchronise failed spin-down
Even when interfaces are available, there may be a delay or failure in the PMS synchronisation, which leads to permission not being turned off after exit or post-entry vouchers being generated. The system has reconciliation mechanisms: regular matching of PMS housing and authentication account status, abnormal automatic warning, manual intervention if necessary. Instead of fearing a break-in, it recognizes that any interface is occasionally failing and cannot turn failure into compliance gaps.
Double room and change of rooms.
The same hotel often has common accommodation, changes and continues to live. These scenarios complicate the relationship between the home and the account number.
Foreign guests and passports must be very careful.
Foreign guests use international cell phone numbers to access international text message authentication codes, but are often not the first to choose. The passport number, housing combination, and spelling of their names can be used as a basis for certification; they must transfer technology to confirm PMS fields and pre-entry norms.
Privacy protections must not be compromised.
The certificate system collects information for auditing and service control purposes, not to be used for unrelated marketing or out-of-office distribution. Privacy compliance and real name compliance are two sides of the same coin, with one side incomplete.
The check-out must not be compromised.
The most vulnerable to detection is the lack of a clear account number after a check-in. PMS synchronisations are timely, and clearances are closed, so that the previous customer’s account number is not available and the person who was followed left with a misdirected retrospective record.
Project acceptance and inspection list
At least a few things are seen for receiving and inspection of the connection items: whether the name number is correctly authenticated, whether the check-in switch can be automatically turned on, whether there is synchronization in the reoccupation, whether there is an alternative path to the guest, if there is warning and reconciliation for the failure of the synchronization, and if the logs remain as required by regulations. Listing these points is checked item by item, so that the docking is truly off, rather than opening the page.
The whole thing.
The interface is ideal, and it is the day to live without opening the interfaces, the field being wrong, and the outsider being special. If the SMS, front desk registration, the taker, the temporary authorization code are ready, the authentication system will be truly stable, not completely paralysed by being stuck in one place. It is not a back-down, but rather the redundancies that must exist in real projects.
Collapse List of Pre-Contact Fields
Before we can do this, we will list the PMS fields: room number, name, cell number, entry and exit, common residence, passport number (outside guest). The format and criteria for field-by-field confirmation are set out in the missing catch-up code before a map is written. The list is clear, it is implemented without stepping on the pit, and it is also easy to follow up on the identification irregularities of a particular dwelling.
Continuous reconciliation after online
The interface is not online, and if you continue to compare PMS housing and certified account status, you are warned that there are inconsistencies. By making reconciliations routine, occasional failure of the interface does not become a long-term compliance gap, and also allows for timely clearance of rights and log boundaries after check-out.
Standard field push forward
The failure of the match depends to a large extent on whether the PMS field is standard. Promoting front-loading specifications, uniform room numbers and name formats reduces authentication failures from source. This is more therapeutic than writing a bunch of spin logic after online, and also reduces the burden on the carrier by making the system less incompetent.
The top switch is for the low peak.
PMS switching is more important than time-tight, and the cost of a crash is much higher than a low period.
