How does Portal's certification system fit the scene of a library and stadium?

Librarys and stadiums are not as regular as dormitories and teaching buildings, but they have a common feature of being visitors and mobile.

Libraries and stadiums, unlike dormitories and buildings, are characterized by a high number of visitors and mobility. If we use the school-wide Portal strategy, either normal readers turn off or large events collapse. When we do campus networks, these two special sites are designed separately because their Internet behaviour and control objectives are simply not the same as the teaching grounds.

Library: silent security is key

Readers sit on the library half-day, with a single and basic one-man terminal, but most feared that the certification session would expire without moving, and the web page would look like it was re-entry and experience an extremely poor experience. Our strategy for keeping the library silent, relaxing its sessions over time, being more aggressive, and having readers almost unaware of the existence of accreditation.

Library: priority for electronic resources

Now a large portion of the library is worth electronic resources, and it's Web-based, and all kinds of databases are needed by teachers and students. With Portal certification, access to these resources is direct, uncompensated and non-speed-free. We usually mark the flow of electronic resources as a priority for transmission, so that they do not get caught up in video traffic. Readers check Carton, which is often an angry network rather than a resource dealer, and this level of priority has to be preserved.

Stadium: The instant human flow is a challenge

Large events, games, openings, and stadiums are filled with people in short periods of time, each pulling out a cell phone, certifying it and running it. Common strategy is easily broken down in this scenario. The way we give the gym is to temporarily ease accreditation rates before the event or even draw out an exempt media and staff channel that will keep the most critical flow alive and slow for ordinary audiences.

Sports Hall: To provide independent access

The games are live, media interviews, scoring systems, which require the Internet and users to use their mobile phones in two completely different formats. We usually divide the stadiums into separate bandwidth and de-certification channels, without any exposure to the flow of viewers. This level of planning is often too late for a temporary hug.

How do you send the account number for visitors' access?

The library's out-of-school visitors, the sports hall outsiders, are not supposed to use a teacher/pupil account system. We usually assign such places temporary time-limited accounts, sweep or reception, which expire automatically. Temporary account access is limited and only access areas are accessible without touching on school resources.

Decrease secondary login with door block

If the library has already been certified, Portal can automatically access it without having to log in again. We have made a light connection with the restricted system, and we have an Internet access and experience that is much smoother. The sports halls also pre-exit on entry documents, reducing the pressure on site.

Switch to emergency scene

The strategy may require a major change during the exams and events. We suggest that the backstage of Portal should have pre-case templates for special locations, with one key switch instead of a field-based effort to retool them.

Data from these sites are useful.

The online data of libraries and gyms can be used in turn for spatial analysis, such as which areas are well-known, which time-blocking is helping to optimize logistics layout and opening hours. We see this as a Portal value added, and the data need not be lost.

Shut up: A generic strategy for special settings

We need to hold the range of privileges.

Visitors’ temporary accounts give access to the area, which should not be allowed to touch the school's teaching and office system. When we do visitors' access, we receive minimal access, only the Internet and necessary public resources.

The capacity is estimated by maximum activity.

The capacity of a gym cannot be measured by the number of people it can afford, but it must be estimated according to the maximum number of people it can absorb. We usually allow schools to provide maximum accommodation at the end of the building and leave a surplus at the ceiling per capita.

We're going to do connectivity tests ahead of schedule.

On the eve of events in special sites, we all propose to start a live connectivity test, confirming that Portal pages are open for seconds, temporary accounts are available and independent access is accessible. The tests reveal problems on the spot, which are much easier to repair than when people start to crowd in and save, and avoid the disruption of the event itself.

The library and gym complex are mobile, there are many visitors, and the Portal strategy must be designed on a case-by-case basis and cannot be set up with generic templates.
