How do you choose the numbering and authentication of the accommodation Internet billing system?

The dormitory Internet billing system is online, and the first thing to stand in front of students and teachers is how to prove you and then withhold your money.

The way the dormitory network is online is one thing that's first to be blocked from students and teachers: how to prove you, then to withhold your money. What accounts are tied and what certifications are, it seems, a technical option, actually determines how smooth students are connected every day, and how difficult it is to prevent theft and sharing behind them. We have dealt with many of the cellular network complaints, more than half of which are not properly accounted for in the form of books and certificates.

Do you have a check number or a room?

The two most common bound dimensions are: the binding of a person (school number) and the tying of a room. The advantage of the SAT is that the individual consumption is clear, the retreading does not affect withholding fees, and the drop-out is directly off; the disadvantage is that the student must activate itself for the first time, and it cannot be connected before it is activated. The tweaking of the room is used as a plug in the room, but the consumption is left to the room, the one who brushes the play is confused and the fee is drawn. We suggest that the student dormitory should focus on the tweeting number and the room will be located as an auxiliary. There was a school map that tied the whole room, resulting in complete withdrawal from graduation season, with others remaining in it, and all the accounts were broken.

Portal certification is the most economical and easy to get caught in a window.

Portal is the most common way to authenticate dormitories: it can be connected to a logout page automatically and with a password or text message validating a check-in. It deploys simple, mobile computers generally, and students do not have to load their clients. It has an old problem, some phones and App don’t play Portal pages, and students think they're not even certified and can complain about content. We suggest that Portal keep a manual log-in entry address outside of Portal, so that students can access the Internet when they cannot play.

PPoE and 802.1x fit the scene of strong control

If the school requires a high degree of accuracy in terms of safety and billing, it will consider PPOE dialling or 802.1x. The PPpoE is separated from Portal at the postgraduate dormitories because there are many graduate students with a lot of equipment and high stability requirements. Which one does not look at who is advanced, depending on whether your travels can sustain its complexity.

Text messages and micromails are suitable for visitors, not for regular stay.

Many dormitories have a temporary network of visitors, and visitors use text messages or micromail scans to get access for hours. This set is convenient for parents who visit friends and relatives, academics who communicate with them, but it is not suitable for regular students because they are always certified and cannot be covered in months. We suggest that visitor certification and student accreditation should be used as two sets of entrances, that visitors should take temporary passages, time limits, that students should go through official channels and that they should go through the menu.

The equipment is tied up, but not tied to death.

To prevent multiple users from sharing one account, many schools have to bind MAC or equipment, and only two or three units. This prevents most of the sharing, but it is more expensive to switch cell phones and computers to transport a manipulator. We suggest that students be allowed to manage their own devices and to add or delete them at the back of the billing table. The binding strategy needs flexibility, such as allowing for an extra temporary tie during examination week. The rules are for people to use, with students being stuck in untied processes, and complaints are greater than theft.

The certified server must be able to hold the peak of school attendance.

Regardless of which certification is chosen, thousands of first landings are made in the first few days. Certification of server capacity, number of simultaneous connections, database response is measured by peaks, not average numbers. We have seen a full collection of authentication server connections on the first day of school, Portal pages that cannot be rounded and start thinking that the network has broken down. It is suggested to do a simulation and send it up before the line, exposing bottlenecks ahead. The authentication method is better selected and the peak is zero.

The usual devices can be insensitive.

The most annoying thing about students is that they have to lose the password every time. For a chained trust device, it can be made unconscious: WiFi automatically uses MAC or certificate identification without losing an account number. This will greatly enhance experience and do not affect fees. We suggest separating insensitive certification from first-time robust certifications, which must be fully landed and kept secret. No control, the bottom still counts as account numbers and speed limits.

There is no standard answer to the account binding and authentication method, but only the answer to your school network environment and management of particle size. The kidnappers are still tied, Portal or 802.1x, strapped or flexibilized.
