The system is just starting, and the real test is when users come in. Many units have a smooth pre-test, and all kinds of certification failures occur as soon as they are officially opened: some people can't even play, others can't get their code, and some are stuck."Authenticating"Turn around. These questionnaires are small, and they're all over the place to complain.
Unable to play the authentication page, look at DHCP and reoriented
The users can't see the authentication page even on WiFi, and two of the most common reasons are: not getting IPs, DHCP addresses full or no switch; not having an IP but re-direction without triggering it; DNS being stopped or Portal not taking effect. The first step in checking is to look back at IPs from a mobile phone, so you can open up the authentic server domain name. We have handled a mall failure because there were new APs but not synchronized Portal templates, only those under APs had no pages, and other regions were normal, where local failures were most likely to be misjudged as global problems. Positioning needs to be specific, not generically defined."The network's not working."。
No authentication code. 90% text channel or firewall.
The number of cell phones is filled out to obtain the authentication code, which has been missing for most of them, but not the certification system itself. Either SMS gateways are short-handed, access is restricted, or firewalls block exit SMS ports. When checking, the carrier sends a test text message from the side of the server to see if it can reach and check firewall strategies. Once there was an upturn in text messages on the day that the project was online, the vendor’s free amounts were exhausted, and half of the users failed to receive the code.
It's stuck."Authenticating", mostly backend sessions or side-off
The user has entered the authentication code and then the page is rotated or it is not clear why authentication failed, usually on a session processing of the authentication server and backend database or billing module. A peak period runs high, the database connection pool is exhausted and the session locks are waiting for some requests to die. This question test environment cannot be pressed and only true peaks are exposed. We generally recommend that an round of pressure near real pressure be performed before the line-up and that the authentication server be equipped with a maximum connection pool and time break, that the stuck request fail quickly rather than indefinitely, and that at least the user try again.
The certification was successful, but it didn't go online.
There is another more hidden type: the page shows a successful authentication, but the user can't open it. This means that the authentication action has been completed, but after authentication, the user will be removed from the certificate."VLAN, LIMITED"Put"Online VLAN"The move was not effective, either because the properties of Radius returned were wrong or because the switch did not hold on to the authorization. Checking depends on whether there is a power-down from the authentication server log and whether the switchboard side has been received and applied. We have encountered a case where VLAN's gateway address is green, but it is wrong to match a number with a few hundred people who are not connected to the network, and it is all normal to see that the authentication is actually the last kilometre of network configuration.
Partially unconnected, see compatibility and frequency
There are complaints."My phone's not connected. Someone else can."Some old Andres have a poor support for specific encryption methods, and some apple devices have different switching processes for 5G and 2.4G. Specific models and system versions of failed terminals are collected during screening, compared to the known compatible lists. We generally recommend WiFi certification in public with 2.4G and 5G, and do not rely on certain frequency bands. Individual types are unsuitable, at least with a clear hint rather than with users.
The log is the lifeline of the search, but it's a good look.
All certification failures are checked and eventually entered into the log: the authentication server records what, AC what, firewall what. The problem is that many unit logs are scattered around, three or four devices are being uploaded. We suggest that key logs be focused on a searchable location when we go online, with a clear error code for each failure."I can't even get it."When you check the code, you know what it is. You don't have to start guessing at the beginning. The logs are not for regulators, they're for weapons that can be used to deactivate themselves.
Create a fault-level response mechanism
The certification is not always a critical emergency. Individual users may be out of touch, but they can be the end point; one area cannot be connected, it is location or equipment, and people are sent to the field; the whole site is off-site, it is core link or server problems, so we start the pre-emptive process immediately. When we get online support, we help clients divide them down into three levels, who will handle each level and how long they respond. Without grade, small issues can also be considered accidents, waste manpower and misoperate.
