The campus network is probably one of the most complex sites in the country. Students are large, end-types are numerous, operators are more established, and there are special needs for teaching research. Portal certifications on the campus network are both safe and serve teachers and students, and it is to the satisfaction of operators.

The basic process for the Portal certification on the campus network is as follows: students log in the Portal page with their own school number and password, and access to the Internet after authentication. This account is usually managed by a school and bound to a teaching system or a cartoon system.

But the actual campus network is much more than just running."Coded login."It's so simple.

The first challenge is that multiple operators operate jointly. The Ministry of Education’s Department of Trade and Communications has clearly established that basic operators can enter campuses to provide network services. This means that there may be three operators in the campus, mobile, connected, telecommunications. Students can choose their own operator and go online through their respective account systems.

The second challenge is the flexibility of fee-counting strategies. Different classes, colleges, and different packages of meals may require different costing rules. Graduate students may have more traffic quotas than undergraduates, preferential meal packages at night, and ad hoc adjustments to billing rules may be needed during the summer season.

The V7 Portal certification, which combines the online behavior management module, allows access strategies to be set by time, user group, and type of application. For example, video games and video site visits are allowed at night, with a relaxation of restrictions on academic databases and scientific platforms.

The fourth challenge is terminal management. A student may have mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, desktop equipment. If each device takes up one account resource, the account number will soon be insufficient. V7 supports multiple terminal binding of the same account number, allowing students to bind many of their own items to a single account, while online equipment can be configured and requires active write-off after restrictions are imposed.

The fifth challenge is to locate the system. Students report on the network, and IT carriers need to quickly judge whether it is a question of account, certification or web.

The university often has academic exchanges, open campus days, and a class call.

From a compliance perspective, universities need to maintain audit logs to meet the relevant requirements of the Ministries of Education and Public Security.

In practical projects, the Portal certification of campus networks has several issues of concern.

The school’s teaching system, a cartoon system, and the operator’s billing system may need to be connected to the Portal certification platform.

Second, high-complex performance. Tens of thousands of students are online at the same time, and certification requests focus on the start of school seasons, the winter summer vacation, whether the server can handle it, and they need to see pressure test data from products and actual deployment cases.

Third is the transport tool. The rapid positioning of operators is an important indicator of system reliability when problems arise with authentication systems. V7 provides Web management backstage and command line tools to support multidimensional log queries and real-time state monitoring.

The V7 system’s OA module supports the URL filtering, which can block known bad websites and fishing sites, while alerting suspicious outlet data.

There is also a practical problem: students spend high Internet peaks at night and weekends, with server pressure volatile. The V7 system NATSHEL_AUTH_GATEWAY supports elastic expansion that can control hardware input while maintaining performance, depending on the automatic build-up and shrinkage of loads.

In cost terms, the campus network Authentication & Billing is also necessary. Many universities provided free school networks in early years, leading to a high number of students taking up Internet bandwidth and poor online experience among ordinary students.

The V7 system, which has been validated by a large number of tertiary projects, can be used to complete the entire process from programme design to delivery.
