NingboXX is a professional satellite network operator, operating on a fee basis after installing wireless equipment for seagoing ships, cruise ships, ferry vessels and cargo ships.
Programme narrative
There are now 10,000 boats and cargo ships connected.
Natshell worked with XX to provide NATSHEL_AUTH_BILLING and NATSHEL_AUTH_GATEWAY solutions for XX.
Needs:
1. The AP equipment should be capable of being inserted and used immediately, without the need for complex installations to facilitate maintenance and replacement, taking into account the installation and maintenance environment of the ship;
2. The design of the velocity of PORTAL and user certification needs to be ensured, taking into account the high delay in satellite links;
3. The large number of ships requires that multiple ship users and PORTAL be centrally managed and centralized, without each vessel being installed;
4. The need to consider user-diversity payment needs in design: micro-lettering, payment of treasures, sales of user cards and connection with management systems;
5. Long-range maintenance needs to be considered, with guarantees of access to sea vessels for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary;
6. Since satellite bandwidth is expensive, users must be guaranteed accurate flow billing and not waste traffic;
7. Consideration needs to be given to later distributions, such as local video broadcasting of ships.
Design requirements
The technical programme shall meet the following design requirements:
AP is a satellite-based link that allows for rapid communication and operation with cloudAC equipment, which should be capable of being plugged in and not requiring complex installations to facilitate maintenance and replacement, given the installation and maintenance environment of ships;
2. The design of the velocity of PORTAL and user certification needs to be ensured, taking into account the high delay in satellite links;
3. The large number of ships requires that multiple ship users and PORTAL be centrally managed and centralized, without each vessel being installed;
4. The need to consider user-diversity payment needs in design: the way that the Internet is made silver, the way that the treasure is paid, the way that the user cards are sold, the way that the APP pays, and the way it connects with management systems;
5. Long-range maintenance needs to be considered, with guarantees of access to vessels for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary;
6. Since satellite bandwidth is expensive, users must be guaranteed accurate flow billing and not waste traffic;
7. The need to consider later distributions and the realization of such functions as local video broadcasting from ships;
Different sea areas may have different satellite broadband access providers, and the issue of multi-line access needs to be considered, as well as trans-satellite network switching and billing.

Programme narrative
Multi-link access using NatShell flow control equipment;
AC is deployed on cloud ends and can be directly managed to wireless AP, directly across the Internet and NAT;
The billing is deployed at cloud ends and is linked to the cloudAC to achieve precision flow billing;
Users can use authentication of real names, access to the Internet and user self-service through certifications such as APP, micromail, self-help registration;
All online certification and fees can be simplified within three steps, free of the cumbersome user registration process;
CloudAC directly manages APs per ship, regardless of whether the AP is trans-Internet and NAT;
AP is a fat and thin one, supporting routers and NAT models;
PORTAL centrally sends to terminal devices and users access the Internet to achieve PORTAL seconds;
(b) Recounting, which is distributed to end-of-pipe equipment through traffic quotas and achieves uniform precision costing without loss of flow;
Users ' access to the Internet is restricted through mobile gateways, avoiding overuse of bandwidth and enhancing their access experience.
