The Shaanxi Tourism Cuisine Professional College was established in 1994 as a full-time general college with an independent certificate of graduation, approved by the People ' s Government of Xinxi Province, which is registered by the Ministry of National Education and incorporated into the national master recruitment scheme.
In 2004, the College occupied over 300 acres of total construction area of 72,000 square metres; there were three second-tier colleges with 13 high-level specializations; and there were more than 4,500 students.
Since autumn 2024, the Institute of Tourism Cooking Professionals in Shaanxi has been providing students with an Internet-based proxy service using NATSHEL_BRAND Authentication & Billing +Accreditation Substitution Gateway.
